Reshaping venture investing

We aim to reshape the current approach to venture investing by focusing on the ‘missing middle’ and empowering purpose driven entrepreneurs to succeed in translating their vision into a reality.
We believe the current approach to venture investing is outdated. Start-ups need permanent capital over a long-term without the need to harvest investments within an artificial time frame.
We offer permanent capital and focus on supporting the start-ups in building purpose driven brands and sustainable businesses. This enables us to focus on building value and creating an impact, instead of worrying about short-term exits. A quick profit and short-term gains is not our priority.
Permanent capital changes the measurements for success and gives our investors the opportunity to back amazing businesses and make an impact.

THE FUND

Reuleaux Ventures will be a fund based in London, that provides purpose driven capital.
Once the fund is set-up, we intend to offer permanent and early-stage seed capital and invest in purpose driven founders who are focused on technology and innovation and committed to solving meaningful global challenges, improving lives and creating a sustainable future.
We believe we can deliver profits with purpose, by investing and empowering founders of early-stage businesses within the dynamic start-up sectors in the UK and India.
We are purpose focused and not sector focused.

REULEAUX – WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

A Reuleaux (triangle) is the middle shape formed from the intersection of three overlapping circles. For us it symbolises our approach and focus of Purpose, Passion and Profit. It also symbolises ‘Missing Middle’ which refers to Small and medium enterprises (SMEs), who are the economic backbone of virtually every economy in the world. 
Interestingly, when a reuleaux drill bit is mounted in a special chuck, it can drill a hole that is nearly square. The 3D model of a reuleaux triangle also has some special and unique qualities. 
SMEs represent more than 95% of registered firms worldwide, account for more than 50% of jobs, and contribute more than 35% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in many emerging markets. Yet despite all these benefits, small enterprises remain significantly underserved by financial institutions. Research indicates that the credit gap that formal SMEs confront is about $1 trillion.
